Vourry Sanctuary

It is the second Marian sanctuary of the Lys Valley, a favorite place of worship for the Walser communities.
On the chapel’s façade, a fresco depicts the Madonna delle Grazie. The main door, crafted from solid walnut, is finely inlaid. Inside, the church has a single nave with a transept and a dome.
The current architectural complex is highly intricate, including the central chapel, the Holy Sepulchre, and the oratories of the mysteries, located in the sanctuary’s cloister, as well as a striking Via Crucis winding along the hillside.
