Guillemore Gorge

Historically, this was where the two roads ascending the Lys Valley met, flanking the stream on both sides. The gorge of Guillemore once marked the boundary between the ‘Mandement de Vallaise’ and the ‘Mandement of Issime and Gressoney.’ From the bridge, visitors are treated to breathtaking views of the Lys River rushing through the ravine and the strikingly eroded rock walls.
