Description
The climbing wall is called ‘Biellesi,’ named after the group of climbers from Biella who first bolted the routes.
The wall is vertical in the first sector and overhanging in the second, and it is renowned for both the beauty of its routes and the physical challenge it offers to intermediate and advanced climbers. Holds are mostly pockets and sloping edges, but there are also vertical and inverted grips, requiring a combination of strength and technique.
Bolting is solid, with resin anchors on the overhangs and bolts on the vertical routes. Climbers should exercise caution at the base of the wall, which rests on a natural ledge that is exposed in sections.
Route difficulty: from 5c to 8c, average 7b
Route length: average 25 m, minimum 18 m, maximum 27 m
Total routes: 31
Descent: Anchors are equipped with chains and carabiners for lowering. Descents are performed in top-rope style (moulinette) using a 60 m rope for single-pitch routes.
This activity requires technical experience; it is strongly recommended to be accompanied by an alpine guide.
