Description
The historic wine press operated until the 1920s, ending its work as local vineyards declined. Although it remained intact for some years, a devastating fire in 1944, set by Nazi-fascists during a reprisal against the partisans, left it in ruins. Carefully restored today, the press stands as a tangible link to the valley’s winemaking past and is open for all to see.
