Parcours Découverte “Bois de Chardonney”

Sport - Various
Champorcher

Description

This is more than a traditional nature trail—it offers even the youngest visitors the chance to explore and learn about the natural beauty and unique features of the protected area through play and the thrill of discovery.
The trail encourages children’s curiosity, engaging their senses of sight, hearing, and touch. It fosters a direct and tangible connection with the diverse aspects of the natural environment in which they are immersed.
Located on the right bank of the Ayasse stream, near the Chardonney ski lifts, the trail winds through the forest, following part of the cross-country ski route. Children can interactively explore the Mont Avic Natural Park, experiencing nature in an emotionally engaging way.
The 16 “thematic islands”—including the stream, the lichen garden, the soft path, the alder gallery, the butterfly garden, the listening station, and the fairy house—allow children to observe and engage with characteristic aspects of the area. Each island is carefully designed to teach concepts through emotional and physical experiences using tactile, visual, auditory, and olfactory stimuli.
Open from June to September.
