Mont Avic Park Visitor Center

The Mont Avic Natural Park Visitor Center is housed in the restored Villa Biamonti, a building originally constructed in the early 20th century as a tourist residence. On the ground floor, visitors will find the information office and a cozy welcome area. The exhibition area describes the geological, morphological, and biological aspects of the park’s high-altitude environments. On the first floor, the most interesting geological and morphological features of the Dondena Valley are presented through a rich collection of photographs, artifacts, dynamic models, and a detailed scale model on which thematic maps are projected. The second floor illustrates the park’s flora, vegetation, fauna, and pastoral activities. Particularly original are the exhibits on small and large predators, displayed through models and specimens in an innovative and engaging way. The visitor center offers an immersive experience, combining scientific information with interactive displays to help visitors discover the natural beauty and biodiversity of Mont Avic Natural Park.
