Mont Avic Natural Park

Established in 1989, Mont Avic Natural Park is the first regional natural park in the Aosta Valley. Its protected area borders the Gran Paradiso National Park.
Mont Avic offers stunning landscapes and environments only minimally altered by human activity, particularly in rugged areas where steep terrain has limited agricultural, pastoral, and tourist development.
The park has been designated both a Site of Community Importance and a Special Protection Area as part of Natura 2000, the European ecological network dedicated to safeguarding biodiversity.
