Masso di Reisen

The captivating Masso di Reisen is ideal for climbing.
It is part of the #climbingparkbalteo project and is very easy to reach. Its location is simply perfect—especially in autumn, when it is surrounded by the vivid red of the vineyards.
The large boulder collapsed several years ago from the cliffs above, coming to rest in the vineyards below.
The four faces of the boulder offer climbing routes of varying types and difficulties:
• South face: 5 beautiful lines, about 10 m high, difficulty 5b–6b on a slightly vertical, textured slab.
• East face: 3 routes, 10–12 m high, vertical, difficulty 6b–7a.
• North face: 3 routes, 6–7 m high, difficulty 5b/c on a vertical slab with flakes.
• West face: reserved for higher-level climbers, with 2 routes graded 7c featuring an overhang followed by a slab.
