Charles Castle

Situated at the entrance to the village, Charles Castle once belonged to the noble Vallaise family and is composed of three connected structures. Its central section boasts elegant mullioned windows and other stone-framed openings. The uphill entrance, guarded by a machicolation, leads to an early 17th-century stone spiral staircase, inviting visitors to explore the castle’s historic upper floors.
