Casa Thomas – Hemp Ecomuseum

The museum is located inside the historic Thomas House, right in the heart of Chardonney village. Visitors can see traditional looms in action and even try their hand at weaving on small tabletop looms. A shop on site offers local products for sale.

A fiber-optic lighting system has been installed to recreate the soft, dim atmosphere of semi-darkness in which people and animals once lived together during the winter months.
