Barma di Bino

Description

The building consists of two adjoining structures, built under a single natural rock formation, the “balma,” which serves as a roof and protects them from avalanches and falling stones, common in the area during winter and spring.
The larger space was used to shelter around twenty animals overnight, including adult milking cows and calves, while the smaller space was used for milk processing.
Open only during the summer season.
