Baraing Castle

Description

The residence, known as Baraing Castle, is designed in a pure Neo-Gothic style, featuring two taller towers at the rear and two shorter ones at the front, swallowtail merlons, and bifora windows adorned with terracotta decorations. Expansive glass greenhouses and a garden with fountains completed the estate.
The castle was inaugurated in 1894. The owner’s wife, Delfina Bianco, a benefactor of the town, bequeathed the castle to the Municipality of Pont-Saint-Martin, which now uses it as the headquarters of the Unité des Communes Mont Rose.
