Sogno Berzé Refuge and Dondena Refuge

This stage starts from Sogno di Berzé Refuge and enters the territory of the Champorcher municipality via Col Finestra.
The trail reaches Lago Miserin with its sanctuary, then descends along an easy path to Rifugio Dondena.

From the Aosta Ovest motorway exit, follow the regional road to Cogne. Before reaching the downtown, at the roundabout, turn left and continue for three kilometres until you reach the large car park at Lillaz, where you leave your car.
From this point, follow the Alta Via No. 1 trail all the way to Sogno Refuge.

From the refuge, climb the beautiful hunting mule track that leads up to the pass. From the pass, turn right along the trail leading to Miserin Refuge.
From the refuge, continue along the well-marked route, mostly on rural roads, until reaching Dondena Refuge, where the stage ends.
