Pra de Bosc

This itinerary starts in the municipality of Fontainemore but mainly takes place within Lillianes.
The route begins in a larch forest but then crosses wide, sunny slopes. The Pra de Bosc houses are located in a large, very scenic clearing.
The trail is often prepared by a snowcat, so walkers should take care to stay along the edges to avoid damaging it.
Much of the route follows a rural road, but in the second part, when reaching the beautiful slopes above Lillianes, it is possible to leave the road and climb directly up the slopes.

From the Pont-Saint-Martin motorway exit, turn right towards Turin.
At the second roundabout, turn left in the direction of Gressoney.
The road climbs for a few hundred meters before turning right onto the Lys Valley road, which you follow all the way to Fontainemore.
Pass through the town center and continue for less than two kilometres, then, on the right, follow the signs for Coumarial. Continue along this road until reaching the large car park at the end of the road.

From the end of the Coumarial car park, follow the road upward. At the first junction, turn right and stay along the edge of the cross-country skiing trail. Ignore the first right-hand turn and continue climbing until, again on the right, a descending road begins.
Follow it until you reach the cross-country trail further ahead, and continue along it until its end. This marks the beginning of the ski mountaineering route. Cross the next two bridges, then descend slightly before starting a long climb that leads to the road coming from Lillianes.
Turn left and continue along the road to reach an area with beautiful slopes. Depending on snow conditions, either follow the road or ascend straight up, first across wide slopes and then through the larch forest, until reaching the Vraseré house.
From here, continue along the road to quickly reach the Pra de Bosc houses.
