Start point description

From the Pont-Saint-Martin motorway exit, turn right toward Torino. At the second roundabout, turn left toward Gressoney.
After a few hundred meters, take the road on the right into the Valle del Lys, passing through the villages of Lillianes, Fontainemore, and Issime.
Reach the village of Gaby, cross the Niel stream bridge, and continue a short distance to find the second car park on the left along the stream.

Trail description

From the car park, cross the Lys River and continue along the asphalt road until Yair Dessus, where the mule track begins on the left, ascending into the forest.
The trail climbs a steep valley, then crosses a sheer rocky slope to the right along a beautiful path protected by a railing, reaching the houses of Pian du Beily.
Pass through the houses and begin the descent, which follows the upper part of the valley floor, crossing steep wooded slopes and small valleys.
Once at the valley floor, follow the Lys River, quickly reaching the houses of Pont Trenta. Cross the charming stone bridge, then follow the asphalt road to the regional road.
Continue along the road until Gattinery, passing the Fior di Roccia Hotel just before the tunnel, then take the slightly descending rural road and find on the right a beautiful stretch of mule track that leads back to the regional road.
Continue along the path, passing through the houses until you reach your car.
