Brief description
A short hike that allows you to explore a little-known area on the border between the municipalities of Issime and Fontainemore.
The route is interesting for observing how a steep terrain has been transformed for cultivation.
Years ago, a monorail was built to transport materials, allowing farming to continue.
During the ascent, you can admire several beautiful Walser buildings.

Continue into the territory of Issime, follow a long straight stretch, and just after the curve, turn right to cross the Lys stream.
After crossing the bridge, turn right again and continue until Gran Proa, almost at the end of the road.
Trail description
Take the trail that climbs through the forest until it meets the mule track coming from the hamlet of Planaz in the municipality of Fontainemore.
The beautiful mule track continues steeply, passing several buildings before reaching the houses of Rumpunsin.
Continue steeply again through a wooded stretch until reaching the houses of Tschantun.
Leave the ridge and traverse easily to the Brengij huts, the endpoint of the hike.
The return is along the same route.
